iMOTO Cancels Remaining 2014 Races

Kurt Sofka Jr., the driving force behind iMOTOmx, has announced the cancellation of the remaining three iMOTO races for 2014. “I want to thank the iMOTO riders for supporting our races this year. I also want to send a special thanks to Lori and the Glen Helen staff for their support and assistance, and to Dr. Feldkamp for his support. At this time, it is not feasible to continue the iMOTO series. We will take stock and determine what will come for 2015!”

In the meanwhile, we will continue to keep the website active. We will blog on various events including Glen Helen events, REM, SRA, and the occasional SoCal OTMX events. We have had a very busy last three weeks with OctoberCross (REM), the Dubya World Vet Championships, Tom White’s AMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, and back to REM last Saturday. Over that time, we have had over 4,000 photos taken of all these events. The OctoberCross, REM (November 8th), and the Dubya World Vet images have been processed and posted at

Speaking of, we have reorganized the categories. REM now has a separate category; the iMOTO galleries have been moved into a revised SoCal/iMOTO archived events category. Glen Helen’s category continues (with all Glen Helen events except REM), and SoCal has a 2014 category for those events covered this year. Mark Chilson’s SoCal International images are located in this category.

The 40 Pro podium at Saturday’s Dubya World Vet Championships!

Dr. D (Doug Dubach) again won the 40 Pro Championship!

Sunday’s 30 Pro race podium! Tom White is on the far left!

Travis Preston won the 30 Pro class for the second straight year. Mike Sleeter gave him a pretty good run moto 2 before Travis pulled away for the win.

We will post up a report on the next REM race early next week. Check back then!
